Khamoshi Shipahi is the song of Dust-sung by those who died unsung-unknown.

Wounded in 1942, Kailash was a guest in the house or Retired Subedar Major Risaloo O.B.E. much against the wishes of the host. Indu the young daughter of Risaloo had a soft corner for Kailash in her heart, which developed into passionate love.

Indu was betrothes to Megh-the mate of the workers who happened to be a very rough type of a lover who knew no sentiments.

Love was never the life of the silent warrior and Love was everything for the beautiful damsel-Indu. Full of hopes whenever she advanced Kailash, she found him lost in those unfortunate millions who had given their life in the streets of Calcutta; sheer out of hunger. Only in India these things could happen.

Whenever people raised a collective voice, riots broke out to suppress the voice.

Lover of the flesh and Lover of the Dust, it was a strange combination.

And, they parted. Instead of that passionate lover, Indu was then talked about,-a girl with the soul of Jhansi-ki-Rani, and she did wonders.
